RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze multiple simultaneous data projects to prepare and validate datasets for predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Perform deep-dive data interrogation, exploratory analysis, and reconciliation to ensure high-quality profiling.
  • Collaborate with product managers and actuarial teams to create, revise, and harmonize data across diverse customer sets.
  • Build and test model features while managing comprehensive reporting.
  • Investigate internal data logic by researching how information is generated and updated
  • Engineer scalable and documented data assets with a focus on simplicity and reusability.
  • Contribute to innovative tool development and external research within a culture dedicated to curiosity and the responsible application of AI to drive measurable outcomes..
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Insurance or Fintech experience
  • · Advanced proficiency in data profiling and fundamental statistical analysis.
  • · Practical experience constructing datasets specifically for predictive modeling.
  • · Expert-level SQL capabilities, including stored procedures, script design, and performance tuning.
  • · Mastery of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • · Professional experience utilizing DBT.
  • · Functional understanding of Machine Learning techniques, including NLP.
  • · Proven ability to translate complex data insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • · Capability to manage and execute projects with high levels of independence.
  • · Strong attention to detail and a self-starting approach to problem-solving.
  • · Commitment to adopting AI and data-driven insights to improve personal productivity and drive innovation
