RESPONSIBILITIES
  • · Lead the development, review, and enhancement of pricing models, reserving analyses, and capital models.
  • · Conduct and oversee quantitative research, actuarial projections, and scenario testing to support underwriting and strategic decisions.
  • · Perform loss modeling, trend analysis, and portfolio performance assessments across multiple P&C lines.
  • · Manage and execute regulatory reporting requirements, including Solvency II, stress and scenario testing, and risk-based capital frameworks.
  • · Evaluate and enhance risk management practices, providing actuarial insights on exposure, capital adequacy, and reinsurance needs.
  • · Advise internal teams and external clients on reserving strategies, pricing adequacy, and actuarial best practices.
  • · Provide expert support on M&A due diligence, market benchmarking, and portfolio optimization.
  • · Translate complex actuarial analyses into clearly understood insights for executives, underwriters, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • · Lead and mentor junior actuaries and analysts, providing technical guidance and professional development.
  • · Collaborate with cross-functional teams in underwriting, finance, data science, and risk.
  • · Review, validate, and challenge technical work produced by the actuarial team to ensure quality and compliance.
  • · Identify and implement enhancements to actuarial processes, modeling techniques, and data workflows.
  • · Stay current with emerging regulatory requirements, actuarial standards, and industry trends.
  • · Support innovation in analytical tools, automation, and advanced statistical techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Fully qualified actuary with several years of experience across P&C insurance and reinsurance.
  •  Strong background in statistical modeling, quantitative research, and business analysis.
  •  Led complex actuarial assessments, including reserve reviews, pricing studies, and portfolio analytics.
  •  Hands-on experience supporting regulatory exercises such as Solvency II, capital modeling, and stress testing.
  •  Advised global clients on key actuarial issues including reserving, risk management, compliance, and actuarial governance.
