RESPONSIBILITIES
  • · Support multiple projects by preparing and analyzing data for predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • · Perform data interrogation, exploratory analysis, dataset creation/revision, feature engineering, and reporting.
  • · Ensure data harmonization across sources and maintain reusable, well-documented data assets.
  • · Investigate data issues and processes within ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter configurations.
  • · Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, analysts, and architects to deliver solutions and updates.
  • · Contribute to new feature development, external data research, and provide feedback on emerging products/tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • · 5+ years of experience in data analysis and insurance technology.
  • · In-depth knowledge of US or Canadian P&C standard lines of business.
  • · Advanced data profiling and statistical analysis capabilities.
  • · Hands-on experience building datasets for predictive modeling.
  • · Proficient in SQL
  • · Solid understanding of P&C policy administration and claims processes.
  • · Skilled in Excel and Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
  • · Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
  • · Familiarity with NLP and other machine learning techniques.
  • · Effective at communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • · Able to independently plan and execute projects with minimal oversight.
