RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Utilize quantitative and data science expertise to lead actuarial support in pricing sophistication, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain advanced pricing models using machine learning techniques.
  • Develop dashboards or tools for other teams using Tableau for data visualization and analysis.
  • Monitor top-line and bottom-line performance and make necessary adjustments based on the analysis.
  • Prepare peril-level rate indications to guide pricing strategies.
  • Test new or existing 3rd party data sources for predictive power and integrate them into pricing models.
  • Ensure exceptional accuracy and data integrity by paying high attention to detail in all processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative spirit and influencing others positively.
  • Clearly articulate complex topics to non-technical audiences in both written and oral form.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related actuarial and data science experience
  • ACAS or FCAS designation
  • Proficiency in SQL required / Familiarity with Tableau or PowerBI is a plus
  • Experience in Python or R required
