RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Actuary is responsible for managing various pricing activities which include price monitoring, profitability reports, developing aggregate loss models, and other varied pricing exercises
  • The candidate will also manage and mentor assigned staff.
  • Develops pricing indications using Insurance methodologies so as to attain an underwriting profit.
  • Provides price-monitoring information on bound accounts.
  • Manages staff to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Clearly communicates pricing indications to underwriters/senior management.
  • Pricing segmentation studies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in SQL, R and VBA.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Near ACAS or ACAS or FCAS
  • 3 or more years of experience in a property and casualty actuarial role.
  • ->SALARY: 100-140k
