RESPONSIBILITIES
  • you will be responsible for natural catastrophe modelling and risk analysis on an account and portfolio level for corporate insurance business.
  • Liaise closely with insurance underwriters and pricing actuaries
  • Prepare input files for import into the RMS RiskLink catastrophe modelling software,
  • Perform catastrophe modelling in RMS, analyze and review model results, and report them to all stakeholders in a timely fashion
  • Be responsible for regular reviews and analyses of the in-force portfolio, exposure data updates, and event response
  • Demonstrate appropriate, consistent, and complete consideration of our internal customers and potential customers interests, throughout our business, on a continuous basis
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Significant experience in catastrophe risk management
  • Be a proficient user of RMS vendor catastrophe modelling, in particular RMS RiskLink including the Financial Model
  • Be able to independently and timely process and analyze natural catastrophe risk information to support insurance underwriting and portfolio risk assessment
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite and SQL including use of views, complex queries, and stored procedures.
