  • Lead the rate development team to create effective strategies and approaches to pricing, rates, risk and filing to drive business success
  • Lead development, implementation and maintenance of rate structures, pricing tools and risk management tools
  • Provide direct management to associates, including hiring, providing performance feedback, coaching for improvement, and facilitating career development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor in the areas of rate development, rate compliance and pricing strategies, providing guidance on these topics to the Rate Team as well as to colleagues throughout the organization.
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years progressively responsible experience in property/casualty actuarial work. Experience with Travel Insurance preferred.
  • Associateship in the Casualty Actuarial Society and Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries required. FCAS preferred.
  • Previous project management and leadership experience in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment
