QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences or other STEM discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an analytical role with demonstrated experience in a role with a strong focus on predictive modelling
  • A curious self-learner and a creative problem solver.
  • Highly competent with quantitative data analysis and utilizing data to drive decision-making, specifically related to measuring and demonstrating effectiveness.
  • Experience handling large and complex data sets in all stages from extraction to modelling, structuring, filtering, discovery and the development of interactive visualizations.
  • Experience leading data projects from problem identification to production.
  • Industry experience developing, optimizing, and implementing machine learning models in a production environment.
  • Extensive experience programming with Python.
  • Exposure to Amazon Web Services.
  • Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of foundational statistical concepts and algorithms.
  • Capability to learn and develop new analytical techniques as required.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tell a story with data both verbally and visually.
