  • Lead the ingestion of client data including mapping to consistent data structures and remediating issues with data.
  • Support the augmentation of client with data elements from external sources.
  • Develop queries to extract and summarize data in response to requests.
  • Develop data visualizations to support clients understanding of risk aggregation.
  • Become an acknowledged expert in the use of catastrophe models.
  • Support the development of new casualty catastrophe scenarios
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field such as Mathematics or Statistics.
  • 3-8 years of relevant insurance/ reinsurance experience in an analytical role.
  • Experience working with insurance exposure, premium and loss data
  • Understanding of the product lines and the global and regional industry conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to be organized and pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills for using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain compliance with professional standards, where applicable, as well as company-wide quality initiatives.
  • Experience with database queries using SQL or related tools
  • Ability to work with other internal colleagues to identify client needs in order to deliver solutions which meet or exceed client expectations
  • Understanding of public economic data sources
  • Curious and able to explore new concepts and technologies
  • Knowledge of Python preferred
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically.
