RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow set process and accomplish detailed tasks and steps to produce quality projects
  • Complete actuarial valuations and prepare valuation reports for consulting offices
  • Complete analysis and reconciliations of plan participant data
  • Reconcile plan assets
  • Prepare government reporting forms
  • Work with the project manager to ensure that each project is completed on time and meets quality standards
  • Manage and prioritize own workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner
  • Contribute to profitability by setting a budget for projects, monitoring own time spent on the project and maintaining accurate time records
  • Participate and actively engage in training sessions
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual capital and the implementation of new tools and approaches
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a program with heavy emphasis on mathematics, statistics or engineering
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proven mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate; good problem-solving ability
  • Sense of accountability; owning one’s work and taking pride in it
  • Ability to organize, set priorities and complete multiple projects within established deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
