RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Autonomously lead large size projects with significant organizational impacts.
  • Extract data as required for project analysis or analysis of our book of business using business intelligence tools or programming language (SQL, SAS, MicroStrategy).
  • Analyze data and find complex insights.
  • Understand, develop, maintain and improve predictive statistical models used in business intelligence
  • Measure and document the performance of statistical models used in business intelligence
  • Using a scientific approach, research and develop solutions to new analytical problems.
  • Actively seek out and assess new emerging technologies, external data and methodologies.
  • Significantly contribute to the Research road map by proposing and initiating research projects that contribute to the organization strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10 years of relevant experience OR 8 years with a graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • University Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field.
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience is an asset.
  • Exposure to the use of job related applications, appliances and programming languages (SAS, SQL, Netezza, MicroStrategy) is an asset.
