  • Support the company’s transition to IFRS 17
  • Analyze the implications on the company’s balance sheet and LICAT position
  • Perform IFRS 17 actuarial model reviews and readiness assessments
  • Engage with regional actuarial areas on the operational considerations, such as the pricing and reinsurance implications of IFRS 17
  • Provide assistance in other areas, as needed, such as accounting, process improvements, and systems/technology considerations
  • Support the Appointed Actuary and Corporate Actuarial team through participation in actuarial investigations.
  • Support regulatory reporting, including the consolidation of regional results and various processes to the support the -Appointed Actuary’s oversight of the methodologies and assumptions used to value actuarial liabilities.
