RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver data solutions, as well as predictive and normative models and intelligence; recommend optimal solutions and provide advanced analytics services to the insurance product, underwriting and fraud management teams.
  • Deliver optimal data and analytics solutions, and develop performance monitoring tools to achieve expected results.
  • Plan and drive data and analytics projects, including developing and presenting project plans, ensuring they are executed within their scope and fostering a scientific approach to finding solutions to complex problems.
  • Measure and communicate the benefits of the analytical solutions implemented, in accordance with organizational objectives.
  • Recruit and select talented people, coach and train your team members, manage and reward their performance and foster an agile culture to achieve strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have five years of experience in actuarial research in general insurance, business intelligence or a related field.
  • You have a university degree in science, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or a related field.
  • You are an expert in actuarial concepts, advanced analytical techniques, statistics and insurance underwriting.
  • Being an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) is an asset.
  • A master's degree in science (M. Sc.) Or a master's in business administration (MBA) is an asset.
