  • Research, design and implement the capital modeling and stress testing strategy.
  • Ensure analyses are executed according to internal, audit, CEO/CFO certification and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for the analysis of the companies’ future financial condition and the preparation of the FCT reports.
  • Responsible for the stress testing and Minimum Internal MCT analysis.
  • Responsible for the P&C economic capital modeling.
  • Responsible for the accurate balance sheet modeling of P&C companies.
  • Responsible for analysis and preparation of regular management information related to Corporate Actuarial.
  • Prepare required reports for individual company Boards, regulators, auditors and rating agencies.
  • 10 years of experience in the property and casualty actuarial field, with experience in performing actuarial valuations and capital modeling required; experience in pricing an asset.
  • University degree or equivalent with a quantitative background required (in the fields of Mathematics or Actuarial Science preferred).
  • Fellow of the of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) required.
  • Strong technical skills, including actuarial modeling and valuation techniques and familiarity with software required to perform work.
  • A track record of successfully building a high performing team is essential.
