  • Analyzing and tracing transaction data from source to target for both business and data engineers purposes
  • Eliciting data requirements working with business and technical teams. Where requirements have been completed validate accuracy of requirements for each area of delivery and confirm outcomes have met the requirements
  • Creating and keeping up to date technical and business data mapping documents always keeping in mind the Enterprise Data Office framework
  • Work with business and quality assurance testers to create and review test cases and their results, assist in troubleshooting on failed test cases.
  • Creating and running query’s using Hue to meet business needs
  • Working with Third Party Vendor to ensure data accuracy and timeliness for reporting
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across business and technology teams seeking opportunities to improve quality of service and demonstrate commitment to operational excellence for all deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment with management direction and decisions through communication of status and issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the evaluation, implementation and reporting of new services, solutions and appropriate metrics ensuring compliance with relevant standards, practices and policies
  • Deliver team specific services by ensuring timely resolution of incidents, problems and requests within appropriate SLA’s ensuring compliance with relevant standards, practices and policies
  • Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service for the technical area of specialty and ensure adequate resource coverage to meet business demands
  • Monitor services and perform trend analysis to take proactive steps to action unnecessary customer impacts and escalate as appropriate
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and practices for area of technical specialty and share experience and learnings with team members
  • Build relationships with business and partners across all teams and work collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve any variances from stated business objectives
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in technical area of specialty, specifically SQL and Cloudera Data Stack
  • Proven experience within the P&C Insurance Industry
  • Ability to execute/lead technical analysis for projects and services lifecycle, independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of technical area of specialty, project delivery practices and standards across the project and services lifecycle
  • Understanding of the business and user expectations for solutions is considered while completing project and/or service deliverables
  • Strong ability to develop plans and is responsible for leading and executing analysis activities to deliver the technical services, recognizing patterns and leveraging previous experiences
  • Experience leading risk mitigation activities
  • Proven ability to identify and lead problem resolution for medium to complex issues with business partners and project/services team members, working on multiple streams of work
