RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage activities related to the delivery of business intelligence solutions, including project management, design, planning, development and testing of solutions to ensure the success of team projects .
  • Participate in the development of business intelligence strategies, best practices, architecture and design of statements and ensure that these elements are applied to business intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence, Information Technology leadership team and business partners throughout the project lifecycle to ensure specified requirements are met.
  • Oversee the development of dashboards and the delivery of self-service project functionality, including providing key metrics and data to drive informed strategic decisions and deliver quality information at appropriate levels of validation and reconciliation .
  • Support and develop your team, recruit and select talented employees, manage and reward performance and support an agile culture to achieve strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • You have 10 years of experience in business intelligence, information technology, data management or a related field, combined with knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • You have a university degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, information technology, finance or a related field.
  • You have expertise in data design, programming languages ​​and project management methodologies, combined with in-depth knowledge of business intelligence tools and insurance products, systems, indicators and concepts.
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or of Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) is an asset.  
  • A master's degree in science (MSc) or in business administration (MBA) is an asset.
