  • Perform actuarial reserve functions across multiple lines of business, including but not limited to Workers’ Compensation and General Casualty, Hospital Liability, Property and Warranty, both U.S. and International
  • Regularly monitor profitability and identify areas of concern to Senior Management
  • Work collaboratively with all internal departments including Underwriting, Finance, Claims, Accounting and Executive Management
  • Provide support for all external stakeholders and partners as needed, including but not limited to auditors, regulators, consultants, brokers, reinsurers and clients
  • Develop new tools to satisfy NAIC reporting requirements, including but not limited to the NAIC Annual Statement
  • Develop methods that improve best estimate reserves in a changing reserve environment
  • Model and evaluate reinsurance, commutation and other hedging proposals as needed
  • Evaluate other strategic initiatives or proposals
  • Provide collateral adequacy analyses for Senior Management
  • Support other projects including, but not limited to, reserving model, data management and IT enhancements
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a technical or business discipline
  • Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, or equivalent
  • At least 20 years industry experience, with concentration in Reinsurance
  • High level understanding of multiple P&C lines of business across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proficiency in Excel and Access. Familiarity with database tools (SQL) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
