RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will manage the approach to recognise, anticipate and resolve pricing problems in the NRMA/RACV segment.
  • You will work closely with the Customer Segment EMs to develop the book price position for the commercial portfolios.
  • You will utilise the technical pricing models developed by Analytics to drive pricing outcomes overlaying elasticity models and competitor price movements.
  • You will be responsible for managing the book pricing for the Consumer Portfolios, responding to market and competitor movements in an agile and responsive manner.
  • You will support segment Leads with insights into key segments that are driving material trends in performance and provide recommendations on pricing actions to deliver results against margin growth targets.
  • You will liaise with Data and Analytics on monitoring technical pricing needs.
  • You will maintain and update key internal and external pricing data sources to ensure confidence in data integrity for Consumer portfolios
  • You will contribute valuable insights into the strategic portfolio planning discussions and actively support the execution of pricing strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant undergraduate degree or post-graduate qualification in Actuarial, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
  • 5+ Years technical pricing and machine learning experience within general insurance portfolios.
  • Knowledge of key programs and analysis tools e.g. SAS, SQL, Radar, Tableau, Cognos etc.
  • Ability to manage complexity within expert problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Ability to develop, foster and leverage key relationships.
