  • Develop and execute strategy and action plans for focused markets, and be accountable for delivering targeted results and profitability
  • Manage client relationships, look for new opportunities, manage new opportunities and deliver sustainable and marketable proposals, including negotiating and finalizing treaty terms
  • Ensure appropriate exposure monitoring, actual-to-expected analysis is complete, ensure experience analysis is completed annually
  • Help and support prospecting of other clients/opportunities in market including more complex transactions.
  • Execution and implementation of new transactions, and contributing to the maintenance of in force transactions, ensuring compliance with our obligations by coordinating with actuarial, accounting and administration teams.
  • Contribute to the development of expertise and know-how of the team members, and to enhancing company’s profile through conference presentations and work with professional bodies.
  • Qualified Actuary or highly numerate background, and demonstrated business development experience
  • At least 8-10 years’ experience in life re/insurance
  • A strong balance of technical excellence and commercial sense
  • Experience in negotiating, pricing or structuring large reinsurance transactions is desirable
  • Strong communicator externally with clients as well as internally, in English and Cantonese at a business level (verbal and written) is essential. Additional Mandarin language skills is preferred.
