  • You evaluate and assess risks in accordance with company guidelines and standards and make underwriting decisions within your authority level for assigned treaties.
  • You maintain a balanced portfolio which we intend to grow further with your contribution.
  • You will nurture our transaction pipeline together with the client managers of your accounts - and convert opportunities into deals that benefit both us and our clients.
  • You will develop innovative reinsurance solutions and transactions, using the full range of our capabilities and collaborating with internal specialists in this area.
  • You play a meaningful role in meetings and negotiations with clients/brokers.
  • You build relationships with your clients' property underwriters and organize exchanges to develop business together and to transfer knowledge.
  • Degree educated or equivalent, preferably with a quantitative, scientific or economic focus.
  • You have a deep understanding of treaty reinsurance, most importantly in the areas of structuring, pricing, and evaluating terms and conditions.
  • You believe learning should never stop and appreciate development and change as meaningful ingredients to your work.
  • You have proven analytical and quantitative skills and are a pragmatic problem solver.
  • You are able to work under tight time constraints and constant changing boundary conditions.
  • It is vital that you have an intrinsic motivation and like to take ownership.
  • You should be dedicated and always use your initiative.
  • You are creative, able to adapt your communication to the required level, and you thrive in collaborations with colleagues and clients.
  • Partner management both internally and externally is fundamental to making this role a success
  • Your English is fluent, additional languages such as German, are a plus.
  • You love it to interact with colleagues from many different nationalities.
  • Work experience in a quantitative field and/or consulting background.
  • Actuarial or Cat modeling background.
  • Experience in project or deal team management.
