  • Working in a team environment with underwriting, claims, financial, IT, digital and marketing professionals supporting our professional lines and cyber businesses.
  • Data work in R, SQL, Excel and Power BI.
  • Conducting a full range of actuarial and financial analysis to quantify performance including predictive modeling.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or related field of study.
  • ACAS or 5+ exams in current pursuit of ACAS.
  • Experience with at least one coding language.
  • Broad overall knowledge of insurance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to management and other functional areas.
  • Ability to interact and work within a team environment and approach actuarial work as collaborative product.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects.
  • Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to quickly evaluate accuracy of information.
  • Proficient PC skills developed through extensive use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 5 plus years of actuarial experience in multiple lines of insurance.
  • Preferred:
  • Professional Lines experience.
  • Experience doing competitor analysis using filed rating plans.
  • Rate filing experience.
  • Experience with rate indications and calculating rate change.
  • Predictive modeling experience.
  • Experience with Visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Proficient in R and SQL.
  • Creative and flexible mentality.
