RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage project teams to ensure delivery of analytical projects within agreed timelines.
  • Reviewing client communications, including reports and other correspondence.
  • Presenting results to colleagues and clients.
  • Training, development and mentoring of actuarial analysts.
  • Custom analytics consulting sales and client management in the Mid-West.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • FCAS or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science or related field.
  • 7-10 years of actuarial experience in commercial / specialty pricing.
  • At least 2 years of management experience with proven record of managing 2-10 actuarial staff.
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys technical modeling work.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, plus a high level of general computer literacy.
  • Predictive or stochastic modeling experience, especially for insurance pricing or reserving.
  • Experience with simulation software or other statistical modeling.
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a team environment.
  • Enthusiastic about job performance.
