RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop solution approach, and implement sales measurement and operational reports and dashboards using visual analytics reporting tools such as Tableau server suite of products.
  • Proficient in processing both high-level and complex requirements from stakeholders to develop the required data extraction program and visualization needed for high priority projects using industry standard reporting tools.
  • Identify gaps and provide recommendations to stakeholders to enhance clarity and ease of understanding of insights through data visualization and storytelling.
  • Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings.
  • Implement internal data process improvement: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesign/restructure database for more efficiency.
  • Design and develop database specification, data sourcing approach for implementing centralized data visualization dashboards and reporting needs for key Projects.
  • Develop and Optimize SAS/SQL programs to create efficiency on run time.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities to build reports and dashboards.
  • Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft SQL Server and all Microsoft services associated with SQL Server.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is recommended.
  • At least 5 years of experience using Base SAS/EG, SAS Macro, SQL
  • Proficient in Advanced SAS programming and SQL Programming for data sourcing for reporting needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau Server suite of Products and other visual analytics tools is a must.
  • Sound knowledge of relational database structure.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve / Propose solution approach to resolve stakeholder’s problem / needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities to build reports and dashboards.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, VBA and PowerPoint Experience with insurance/actuarial data will be considered a plus.
