  • Support the team to streamline the new business pipeline as well as the renewal process and reporting.
  • Ensure the process and relevant reports and tools are created, implemented and managed on an ongoing basis to support the team to run the new business and renewal process efficiently, incl. distribution of information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing/ensuring treaties are signed in a timely manner, producing regular reports tracking treaties not signed and following up with the relevant Client Partners.
  • Manage client relationships as well as business and related client queries.
  • Build local relationships with Hong Kong clients and lead these business opportunities.
  • Support the other Client Partners on the more material and complex deals to ensure rigor in underwriting these deals.
  • Non-Proportional business management including liaising with brokers.
  • Regular market, client and competitor research, reporting and updating the Life & Health team.
  • Product research to support business development.
  • Managing client feedback.
  • Support on marketing and branding, as well as other coordination tasks.
  • Preferably an actuarial or a highly numerate, technical background.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in insurance in the Asia market is essential.
  • Some business development experience is ideal.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
  • You are a service-oriented self-starter who is keen to learn and understand our clients’ business and their needs.
  • You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues as well as working on your own.
