  • Perform data reconciliations and mathematical calculations.
  • Develop and distribute management information.
  • Support and complete various research projects.
  • Complete various industry surveys.
  • Streamline current processes and create or update supporting documentation.
  • Must be completing course requirements towards the ASA designation.
  • Experience in an actuarial environment is an asset.
  • Completion of a minimum of two exams through the Society of Actuaries.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, email and internet.
  • Ability to learn and apply actuarial applications.
  • Completion of a university degree with courses in mathematics, economics and/or business.
  • Well-developed mathematical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects.
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis.
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Clear writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy.
