  • Develop and implement a Data Science Talent Strategy that support business needs and drives business value through the support and partnership of the T&ES.
  • Guide Data Science Technology initiatives through product ownership with an emphasis on self-service data science.
  • Responsible for enabling rapid experimentation and adoption of Data Science, AI, and realize their potential in production.
  • Supports and champion data science initiatives to enhance business collaboration, value, & success.
  • Cultivate Data Science excellence to create a sustained competitive advantage including tactical experimentation to improve standards and tools.
  • Act as a cross functional leader on high visibility and impact DS related efforts that span the enterprise.
  • Minimum of ten years in leadership roles and at least ten years of data science related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate data science strategies and programs across multiple functions.
  • Strong experience effectively influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Must possess strong analytical, strategic, project management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor`s Degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of insurance operations and the procedures of Financial, Underwriting, Claims, Statistical, Technology, Legal and Sales departments.
  • Deep knowledge of predictive analytic techniques and statistical diagnostics of models.
  • Expert knowledge of predictive toolset, with the ability to drive thinking about appropriate tool usage.
  • Proven ability to lead and drive projects and assignments to completion through others, to include prior experience effectively managing talent.
  • Exchanges ideas and conveys complex information clearly and concisely, verbally, visually and in writing, consistent with the audiences and stakeholders with which s/he interacts up to and including SBU/Corp Dept leadership and enterprise wide.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required to establish and build effective relationships within and outside the organization and company.
  • Regularly interacts with senior executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate areas of senior management concern, integrate different perspectives, and respond accordingly.
