  • Perform end to end actuarial reserving exercises and assist with reporting deliverables.
  • Perform analysis into key drivers of portfolio trends.
  • Help deliver on the Company strategy by collaborating with key stakeholders both within and outside of the actuarial function.
  • Build, maintain and improve monitoring reports covering various aspects of the portfolio.
  • Take initiative to recommend changes to actuarial assumptions and the reserving / pricing process.
  • Be guided by the brightest minds in the industry as you develop your actuarial and professional skill set.
  • A university degree preferably in Actuarial Studies or with a strong mathematic component.
  • Completion of all the Actuaries Institute Part 1 and Part 2 exams will be advantageous.
  • Industry experience in General Insurance is preferred.
  • Understanding the link between reserving, pricing and portfolio monitoring.
  • Strong MS Excel skills. Experience in SAS programming is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze, reconcile and extract data from several sources.
  • Highly effective communication, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and solve problems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
