RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understanding and focus on good member outcomes and working with clients.
  • Using your strong technical investment knowledge and experience to proactively support lead consultants in providing high quality bespoke advice.
  • Supporting relationships with clients with over £1bn DC assets, with accountability for developing those relationships, for example through introducing additional services.
  • Manage routine client projects, with minimal oversight from a more experienced consultant.
  • Serve as day-to-day contact on majority of clients.
  • Management of client work and timely delivery to the client and/or lead consultant.
  • Prepare meeting materials and strong participation in meetings.
  • Contribute to the success of the DC team through helping to drive business performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Self-motivating and ambitious.
  • Previous investment and preferably DC consulting experience.
  • FCA approved status.
  • Able to encourage and develop other colleagues, and work well within diverse teams.
  • A willingness to learn and understand DC pension vehicles, applicable regulatory and legislative rules, main asset classes and investment theory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Consistently acts with the highest integrity and professional standards.
  • Experience advising clients on some or all: DC investment strategy, DC products and investment platforms, Asset transitions, Fund manager recommendations, Ongoing monitoring, DC scheme governance.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and changes in legislation.
