  • Work independently to implement complex rate changes.
  • Develop and present small scale initiatives to drive profitability.
  • Become the subject matter expert in some aspect of product management.
  • Work with underwriting, Sales, Actuarial and IT to implement rate changes.
  • Create ad-hoc reports to answer specific questions.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Technically proficient in data manipulation tools such as SAS, SQL, R or equivalent.
  • Experience in rate making methodologies.
  • Preferred:
  • Prior insurance experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study.
