RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Promote data exploitation and deliver AI-based and machine learning solutions used by the different teams of the organization and by customers. These AI initiatives strive to continuously improve our customers’ experience and satisfaction.
  • Integrate a team with high visibility and which will offer you a wide array of challenges as part of projects involving speech recognition, image and data processing related to human behavior, climate and geography, both in personal and commercial lines insurance.
  • Help evolve AI-based and machine learning software products, while working on models required by the organization’s systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software development / engineering.
  • Worked as tech lead in a development team.
  • -Excellent understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Proficiency with Python and other programming language such as C#, or C++.
  • Strong experience of software engineering practices such as Agile, Devops, CI and CD and others.
  • Strong experience with machine learning and scientific computing libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps modern tools such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, ELK, Jenkins.
  • Good experience with deep learning framework such as Kubeflow, Tensorflow, PyTorch or other.
  • Good experience of Kafka.
  • A developer passionate about artificial intelligence, able to interact with software engineers, data scientists and R&D teams.
  • Bilingual.
  • An agent of change.
  • Able to act as main technical point of contact on a project and estimate the level of effort at the squad level.
  • Understand requirements and adept at translating a business problem into a technology solution.
  • Comfortable working in complex environments that are constantly evolving and multidisciplinary team.
  • Identifies and leads strategies for technical interdependencies with other teams/products/services working with the architect.
  • Leads design and coding decisions by the Squad; engages help from Architects for architectural decisions.
  • Technical lead to developers and makes key technical decisions.
  • With the developers in the Squad, responsible for code quality, test coverage, and adherence to standards.
  • Successfully able to lead technically a project involving a small team.
