RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in the actuarial work stream by leading the project of experience study to support the annual assumption review.
  • Propose changes on both non-economic and economic assumptions to reflect the latest actual experience.
  • Consolidate and analyze assumption change impact for various reporting bases.
  • Prepare documentation on the experience study for review and approval by senior members of Actuarial department.
  • Perform data reconciliation and presentation materials to Group office for communicating the proposed assumption changes.
  • Handle enquiries from External Auditors and Group office on the experience studies.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and drive the continuous improvement in efficiency and quality of actuarial reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University graduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Finance or related disciplines.
  • Attained Fellowship or demonstrated good progress in Actuarial professional examination.
  • Attentive to details with strong written and verbal communications, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
  • Solid experience and knowledge in insurance products and various reporting bases.
  • Solid skills in Excel, VBA, Access and programming; knowledge of actuarial software is an advantage.
  • Candidate with 4-6 years of experience is preferable.
