  • Deliver on & enhance our analytics strategy to ensure we have the people, processes, technology, data, team structure, and stakeholder interaction models to deliver on our value proposition for the Company.
  • Sustain a high-performing, high-engagement team through effective people leadership & coaching of Advanced Analytics managers and a focus on strong team culture & collaboration.
  • Oversee the intake, prioritization, and delivery of new analytics initiatives that deliver material value to the organization, and the lifecycle management of existing analytics initiatives to preserve their value.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with senior leaders and other key business partners to ensure a growing pipeline of analytics use cases.
  • Co-ordinate research & understanding of innovative data analysis / data mining techniques that are available/applicable in the marketplace, and determine if these can be applied to solve existing business problems.
  • A university degree in statistics, actuarial science, business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong Property & Casualty insurance knowledge.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with proficiency in developing high-performing, engaged teams; and aptitude in coaching other leaders.
  • Able to use influence & communication skills to source high-value analytics opportunities across the organization, and ensure alignment and adoption of analytics capabilities / insights.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and data mining techniques, and an ability to explain the application of these techniques to business stakeholders & team members.
  • Expertise in the development of collaborative business partnerships.
