RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support daily operations related to Investment Management including Hong Kong and Macau.
  • Assist in setting up investment-linked business, be responsible for screening the fund companies and funds for investment-linked insurance product and liaise with fund companies on the fund implementation.
  • Keep monitoring fund risk indicators, etc.
  • Monitor and produce various reports of investment portfolio for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft and update Investment Management Agreement and guidelines with internal and external asset managers or financial advisors.
  • Assist management in overseeing potential risks and issues in operations flows and ensure all operation issues are solved in timely manner and well recorded.
  • Assist in compiling, review and update various operations policies and procedures on regular basis.
  • Ensure the operating procedures are adhered to regulatory and in-house requirements.
  • Manage relationships with internal or external parties, such as asset managers, fund administrators, Legal & Compliance, auditors, etc., from an operational perspective.
  • Assist Managers with macroeconomic research and industry analysis.
  • Prepare materials for periodic committee meetings.
  • Involve in process improvement and system implementations projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Investment, Actuarial, Finance, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of solid working experience with analytic focus.
  • Past experience with financial or consulting industry.
  • Knowledge of global capital market, basic knowledge of financial derivatives and asset valuation approach.
  • Familiar with investment accounting rules including IAS39 and IFRS 9.
  • Basic understanding of HK asset management and Insurance industry regulatory requirement.
  • Strong technical skills with Excel and PowerPoint, basic programing skills with VBA or Python is desired.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, professional Chinese writing is required.
