RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor, report, and forecast strategic financial metrics for the Life business, including but not limited to IFRS earnings and embedded value.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial metrics and convert insights into actions to manage and improve the company’s financials.
  • Support the development of the annual business plan using those same financial insights such that plan is sound and based on realistic business fundamentals.
  • Actively participate in the improvement of reporting processes and methodology.
  • Provide supervision and technical guidance to junior member/s of the team and ensure that the team delivers its regulatory reporting tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-7 years of life actuarial experience.
  • Very strong technical background, as well as verbal and written communication.
  • Nearly qualified actuary, or in good progress in actuarial exams.
  • Strong understanding of profitability analysis and MCEV reporting.
  • Experience in business planning, and/or Singapore RBC and RBC 2 is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Prophet modelling.
  • Organized, motivated team player who is dynamic and adapts well to changes.
