  • Support the completion of experience studies for Southeast Asia Markets.
  • Develop models to improve the monitoring and reporting of experience.
  • Support the development of research to develop and update mortality and morbidity pricing bases for Southeast Asia.
  • Propose revisions to pricing assumptions for consideration by pricing management.
  • Document findings and conduct briefing sessions for key stakeholders.
  • Support the data governance processes, the assessment and remediation of data quality related issues and ensure appropriate data capture in new treaties.
  • Support junior team members in carry out full spectrum of data analysis, from setting data requirement, development of statistical analysis plans and design of the database schema, through data cleansing and into the creation of new insights and knowledge based on thorough and deep statistical analysis of the data.
  • Support the development and production of regular reports and presentation slides for experience monitoring of existing health/life treaties, for internal and external clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in math, finance, statistics, actuarial science or related fields.
  • Good progress in actuarial professional exams from a globally recognized actuarial association.
  • 5 - 7 years of actuarial working experience, pricing experience a definite plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills is required and experience in using statistical programs or database application is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, delivery-orientated with the ability to work with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to analyze financial and business information to draw out relevant insights and the factors underlying the performance of the business.
  • Solid understanding of life insurance market and products.
  • Highly motivated, results oriented and solutions focused.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
  • Ability to challenge and enhance existing analytical methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and deal with multiple stakeholders within the business.
