  • Execute an efficient and value adding transactional catastrophe modeling process for catastrophe pricing and exposure control including exposure data analysis and communication of results.
  • Participate in catastrophe portfolio roll-ups and internal and external catastrophe exposure reporting, post catastrophic loss estimation.
  • Support R&D projects and the development of company’s view of natural catastrophe risk, sensitivity analyses and impact studies.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of catastrophe modeling tools landscape and drive projects to further improve its efficiency, including the support in maintenance and further development of internal software tools.
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher, in the field of natural sciences, mathematics, actuarial sciences, earthquake/wind engineering, computer science or a related discipline.
  • A strong analytical background and interest in the application of risk assessment in the Re/Insurance industry.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks under time and resource constraints.
  • Pro-active, solution oriented personality with a high level of self-initiative and organization.
  • Programming experience including knowledge on relational databases.
  • Very good communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in English, other languages are a plus.
