RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the development and implementation of company’s suite of modelling and analytics tools for risk Aggregation.
  • Provide analytics and research that enable the business to make informed decisions regarding risk Aggregations.
  • Provide stakeholders with accurate and timely information for exposure rollups, analytics, management information, reporting and reinsurance pricing and placement.
  • Support parameterization and validation of natural and man-made catastrophe components feeding into the syndicate view of risk.
  • Support the design, pricing and placement of outwards reinsurance programs.
  • Fulfil all regulatory requirements and manage the relevant regulatory deliverables.
  • Support company’s wider risk aggregation team on an ad-hoc basis by assisting with regulatory returns, business planning, ORI placements and other deliverables required by the wider Group.
  • Engage with the capital modelling, actuarial and finance teams to ensure consistency in the approach to risk modelling both across the syndicate and with other entities in the Group.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Lloyd’s and key suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and a willingness to undertake continuous personal and professional development.
  • FIA nearly/newly qualified with experience in capital modelling or pricing models.
  • Stakeholder management, communication and engagement of senior execs and Board.
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s requirements.
  • Expertise in evaluation of catastrophe and aggregate exposure, including deep understanding of insurance exposure and some knowledge of AIR models is desired.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences is a must.
  • Advanced IT skills, with experience in SQL and preferably VBA.
