RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees catastrophe risk analytics and business insights.
  • Develops and implements risk evaluation metrics.
  • Performs vendor model evaluations and model change impact analysis as needed.
  • Assists in catastrophe event response and loss estimation.
  • Validates core analytical models and risk level data; determines methodologies, assumptions, and results.
  • Collaborates with other teams to drive improvements in product pricing and risk selection models.
  • Streamlines and improve data efficiency and reporting processes for all risks and coverages.
  • Designs key ERM analytical models to include risk diversification, risk aggregation methodologies, and risk appetite framework.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of catastrophic modeling experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, ESRI.
  • Experience with R and Python.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field is preferred.
