  • Lead the continued development and implementation of company’s risk management framework by ensuring key risks are identified, measured, managed, monitored and reported across the organization.
  • Drive a culture of risk awareness, ownership and accountability that includes risk analysis and a balanced risk/return approach.
  • In partnership with business areas develop policies and controls to solve operational risk issues in a meaningful and non-disruptive way.
  • Defines and evolves a set of Key Risk Indicators and a risk dashboard used for monitoring against Board-approved risk tolerance limits.
  • Present and/or share the risk management roadmap, metrics, and reporting cadence to all stakeholders while generating awareness and support across the organization; this includes monthly discussions with the Executive Team.
  • Regularly interface with clients on the risk management program; including managing the mitigation of any gaps found during audits, attestation or risk assessments.
  • Liaise and partner with risk management teams to leverage their expertise and ensure they have a line of sight into company’s risk management practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of risk management experience at a senior level.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field and risk management designation.
  • Excellent leadership skills to develop, coach and manage a team of direct and indirect reports.
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills to drive a culture of risk awareness, ownership and accountability across all business areas.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and with all levels across the organization to meet objectives as a cohesive team.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to present information in an organized, logical and effective manner to a wide variety of audiences, including Leadership Team.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to measure, evaluate, influence and implement action plans.
  • Ability to think strategically; identify, and analyze complex problems with a strong decision-making ability and critical thinking approach.
  • Ability to operate in an evolving and agile environment.
