  • Applying their actuarial knowledge and experience in property & casualty insurance to enable the delivery of actuarial and broader insurance projects. This may include reserving, pricing, peer review, audit, due diligence and numerous other projects.
  • Contributing to team success: peer review, sharing knowledge and insights, being proactive and assertive, mentoring junior members of staff.
  • Developing individual capabilities: expanding the breadth of one’s personal knowledge and capabilities, monitoring developments in property & casualty insurance actuarial practice, mentoring more junior members of the team and sharing knowledge and insights with other members of the team.
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience working in a property & casualty actuarial position including pricing, reserving, capital, or financial reporting.
  • Pursuing professional designation in the Casualty Actuarial Society, successfully completed at least two actuarial exams.
  • Strong technical knowledge with MS Excel.
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal and client-service skills.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meeting timelines.
  • VBA and any other programming languages.
