RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop infrastructure within Treasury for establishing, managing and reporting Group’s cash, collateral and capital position, available liquidity, borrowing profile and general financial flexibility.
  • Maintain, populate and run ratings models ensuring management are aware of how company entities are viewed by agencies.
  • Maintain day-to-day relationships with ratings analysts as well as ratings specialists at relationship banks.
  • Work with Finance leadership to develop ratings and debt investor stories and ensure the financials support them.
  • Support Treasurer in preparing and delivering presentations to these stakeholders as well as company management
  • Develop and maintain oversight of delivery of the capital plan, working with BU, Actuarial and Investments to anticipate changes in plan and to mitigate them.
  • Act as Secretary to ALM Committee, agreeing agenda with Treasurer, assembling the papers including core Treasury pack, following up action items and supporting Committee members’ requirements.
  • Develop, Maintain & if instructed execute capital and liquidity contingency plans, ensuring management can get ready access to financial resources if required.
  • Support Treasurer in managing relationships.
  • Assist teams managing debt raisings and other capital markets transactions.
  • Advise on Treasury impacts of m&a, divestments, legal entity changes.
  • Supply relevant Treasury information to financial reporting and support year end process.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance, Risk, Investment management or banking.
  • Experience in managing treasury or corporate finance function in MNC.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably life insurance.
  • Highly numerate but not necessarily quantitative with strong Excel modelling skills.
  • English/Cantonese - Mandarin speaker is an advantage.
  • Graduate, CFA an advantage but not required.
