RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Integrate data from multiple data sources into relevant client reports.
  • Develop or use industry formulas to create basic and complex models to analyze, illustrate, or project loss trends; complete feasibility studies, financial models, and pricing models; evaluate benefits utilization and claims data to assist clients in developing cost management and health risk management strategies.
  • Creates complex models to analyze, illustrate, and project loss trends.
  • Creates financial modeler and other tools to predict financial impact of health reform on client plans and interprets findings.
  • Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, and other related areas.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
  • Prepares custom reports and analysis for specific client needs.
  • Maintains market data and leverages use of benchmarks across clients.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on financial reporting.
  • Leverages internal systems knowledge and utilization within the department and among clients.
  • Works collaboratively with client service teams to collect and review data for accuracy and consistency.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related program or equivalent education and/or experience, with an emphasis in math, statistics, or finance required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to develop strong client relationships with multiple clients.
  • A working knowledge of welfare benefits with a basic understanding of risk and insurance concepts is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet expertise.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
  • Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions.
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information.
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines.
