  • Ensuring accuracy, quality and reconciliation requirements are met for data models in production, while maintaining required thresholds.
  • Partnering with analytic teams to provide advanced analytic services and promoting a scientific approach to identify innovative solutions for complex problems.
  • Driving change and overseeing the BI Project Managers and BI Analysts to ensure initiatives and processes adhere to best practices.
  • Leading and measuring the success of the Discipline Agile roadmap using velocity charts and regularly communicating progress updates to ensure key stakeholders remain engaged.
  • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.
  • You have 5-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Actuarial or a related field, with experience as a people leader.
  • You have completed a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration or a related scientific discipline.
  • You have expert knowledge of BI functions such as metrics, efficient dashboards, descriptive analytics and predictive analytics.
  • You have strong knowledge of data architecture, infrastructure and BI solution design.
  • Having a Chartered Insurance Professional, Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society or Project Management Professional designation is an asset.
  • You build trusting relationships and provide feedback to enable the successful development of your team and colleagues.
  • You foster innovation and continuous improvement with a focus on client experience.
  • You facilitate the adoption of change and create a high-performance culture through alignment of your team’s work with organizational goals.
  • You successfully convey messages and demonstrate openness to exploring alternative points of view.
  • You use critical thinking to guide decision making and apply a strategic mindset to adjust business plans based on shifting priorities.
