  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of actuarial operational deliverables, overseeing day-to-day operations by planning and allocating work, promoting teamwork and guiding their team’s training and development.
  • Formulate appropriate recommendations after analyzing and interpreting reports produced by actuarial analysts to improve the performance of products and services.
  • Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of members of their group to achieve the strategic objectives of the company.
  • Manage their team’s activities by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to company strategies and budget planning.
  • Manage and provide technical advice to the members of their group responsible for actuarial work and studies.
  • Represent the actuarial function in various working groups/committees and act as a point of contact with other business units.
  • University degree, Mathematics, Actuarial Science.
  • FCAS an asset.
  • Professional experience of 6 years’ minimum including 2 years of management or coaching or mentoring.
  • Strong skills and knowledge of actuarial techniques.
