  • Support Technical Evaluation of Key Reinsurance Deals including; Technical Price and Key strategic metrics.
  • Support new metrics development.
  • Support increased focus on technical metrics for reinsurance evaluation within the company.
  • Improve the consistency and accuracy of current pricing process via new platforms.
  • Support Planning Process, including both Technical Implementation and Communication of Reinsurance Strategy.
  • Lead Allocation of reinsurance costs for booking and Planning.
  • Support Analysis of Large deals.
  • Support the process for gathering loss and premium data.
  • Collaborate on technical analysis internally with Corporate Actuarial, Planning and Controlling, Risk Management, Underwriting, Claims.
  • Support technical communication with external stakeholders, such as Group, the company, Brokers, Auditors, Reinsurers.
  • Support a global approach to reinsurance in individual underwriting.
  • Support Technical Portfolio management, particularly for Cat risk.
  • Effectively manage ad hoc requests.
  • Excellent tertiary qualification, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or other appropriate discipline.
  • Relevant experience as intern, in analytical areas within Property and Casualty insurance, such as actuarial, cat modeling, etc.
  • First experience with complex international P&C portfolio would be a plus.
  • Experience with reinsurance transactions is preferred.
  • Experience of working in matrix and global teams would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical capacity required.
  • Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management.
  • Ability to recognize and deal with disputes in a rational, balanced and effective way.
  • Ability to understand the business needs and to develop the necessary data, tools/models to support the business.
  • Programming background would be beneficial.
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus.
