RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates with valuation platform stakeholders to gather high level functionality requirements and recommend overall prioritization of new feature development.
  • Oversees development, validation, documentation, and maintenance of business and functional requirements for valuation platform enhancements.
  • Engages with project managers, business analysts, users, designers and developers to further understand the system and/or resolve system gaps.
  • Understand the Actuarial Enablement team’s proof-of-concept work; coordinate with the Executive Director of Actuarial Enablement when new functionality is ready to be adopted.
  • Act as Data Steward for Valuation-related data.
  • Leads launch planning and training for new feature adoption, working closely with the valuation users to ensure maximum value is achieved through streamlined testing and adoption.
  • Plan and prioritize the feature backlog.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with the broader project objectives that maintains standardization across jurisdictions while allowing for identified office specific customizations.
  • Develop key communications plans regarding upcoming functionality releases.
  • Periodically reviews existing business processes to identify inefficiencies or areas where automation could reduce process risk, make recommendations to improve process or data sources, and propose new features to address system gaps.
  • Evaluates and tracks proposed feature development to determine potential issues, communicates how problems may affect business, and recommends solutions. Considers the business implications of the application of the solution to the current and future business environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to content developed for training materials.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Data Analysis, etc.
  • Advanced project management skills. Demonstrates ability to evaluate project objectives and scope for feasibility, understanding, scheduling, and ensure projects meet budget and plan criteria.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge.
  • Advanced data analysis skill.
  • Advanced investigative, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and participate in department/team projects.
