  • Plan out digital product roadmaps in line with overall strategy, with the aim of releasing high quality and innovative products, features and enhancements.
  • Responsible for Portfolio management to ensure profitability of the portfolio and take remedial measures.
  • Assist on business cases relevant to your product scope with awareness of financial implications of potential projects.
  • Create new products and pricing for digital and partnership platforms.
  • Create detailed product specifications in line with business needs, UI/UX, and in consultation with IT in order to guide and prioritize the efforts of the development team, whether internal IT or a third party developer.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of your digital or partnership product to ensure that deliverables meet project timelines and requirements and to ensure that the direction for the product is in sync with overall direction for the channel. Be able to drive project management of your product if needed.
  • Manage end to end testing with regards to managing users, feedback and delivery and performing functionality testing.
  • Track and measure the success of tests and product launches and perform post launch evaluations.
  • Stay ahead of the market and constantly benchmark the domestic and international market in terms of product and price.
  • Communicate ongoing developments to your product to cross functional teams.
  • Manage expectations with regards to stakeholders, business users and end users with regards to product delivery and expectations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or Actuarial Science, preferably.
  • Experience in insurance company or general insurance consulting firm for a minimum of 5 years in the Asia market.
  • Significant experience in product development and have successfully launched innovative general insurance products in the Asian market.
  • Preferably with some underwriting or pricing experience for GI personal lines product.
