RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on projects designed to enhance our reserving infrastructure.
  • Quarterly reserve indications for assigned areas.
  • Related data management.
  • Booking and reconciliation of selected reserves.
  • Maintaining an appropriate documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Providing summary reports and management information.
  • Help manage our process for reserving material events and allocating them to appropriate business units and contracts.
  • Assist our efforts globally to produce cashflows and other needed information to develop and enhance our IFRS 17 accounting standards and Solvency II reporting capabilities.
  • Complete assumption review analysis, which in addition to updating reserve parameters, should aim to provide value added insights to the business unit.
  • Help prepare quarterly presentations to executive underwriting management and business unit leadership.
  • Engage with more granular underwriting teams and claims to enhance the reserving freedback loop.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 to 5 years working experience in non-life reserving or pricing in the reinsurance field, or related actuarial experience.
  • Person should have completed 3 to 6 actuarial exams.
  • To be successful in this role you further bring along.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency English.
  • High motivativation, team-orientation and adaptability.
  • Strong IT and data management skills; knowledge of visual basic and Business Objects reporting would be an advantage.
