RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze current information flow and recommend appropriate design, technologies and tools to develop and achieve various long-term objectives for data architecture.
  • Design the overall data architecture, including recovery, security, backup, and capability specifications for both on-cloud and on-premises data needs.
  • Administer mapping of all data sources and movement and analyze it to achieve all goals and prepare data roadmap for management, including building a single source of truth for all business needs across the company.
  • Determine procedure to identify and collect all required data, validate and recommend appropriate improvements to data processes and tools/technologies for increasing efficiency and performance.
  • Design advancements to build on existing reporting architecture and design new reporting solutions including regulatory and statistical reporting.
  • Provide training to team to manage data solutions and recommend process enhancements as required.
  • Develop key metrics for tests on data and ensure integrity of same on data architecture.
  • Work directly with internal partners to effectively launch data solutions across the organization. Success will be measured by the ability to effectively design and integrate data solutions into existing workflows and achieve buy-in from all parties, ultimately translating into improved data availability and performance.

  • Responsible for managing multiple high visibility projects at once. You will be expected to prioritize work and execute in the face of ambiguity.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related subjects.
  • 10 - 15 years of Data management experience with increasing levels of responsibility over time required.
  • Master or Fellow of the Certified Data Management Professional is highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience using Database management, Data modeling and Data visualization tools is required.
  • Extensive experience and comprehensive understanding of enterprise level data architecture design and implementation is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement data architecture both on-cloud and on-premises is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data warehousing and data modelling is highly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau or another data visualization software is preferred.
  • Must be a leader able to foster growth and provide mentorship to junior members of the team.
