RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Researches business problems, define, design, and implement business intelligence reporting needs and dashboard solutions to address business problems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms, and build optimal business case for business growth.
  • Advise business stakeholders on how to measure their business processes or advising on good metrics to use for different processes.
  • Identify what are the right things to measure from insight during the requirement gathering process and ensure requirements are align with what insights are business stakeholders looking for.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize overall efficiency and improve quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst with advanced level of computer skills, including Excel, Access, SQL, SAS, Tableau, or BI Reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Identifying new ideas, techniques and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essential.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
